Not yet. I messed with it for hours today again.

UE2/UE3-based games are absurdly complex.

I've been moving between Star Wars: Republic Commando, IL2, UT2004, and UT3.

I have some ideas that might help out with UE2/UE3 games, but I've been awake for 49 hours and I don't think I can work on anything more for the day.

Using the latest version of widescreen fixer?
There should be two separate options for both SP and MP.

Does MP work? Does SP work? Do neither work?

I have the Steam version of the game so that's the one I've been basing everything off of, but there are people using retail that have it work.

Which OS, too?

If you can't get it to work, you can try upload your two .exe files somewhere for me to download and test.

Hey, its not working on SP or MP. Widescreenfixer version 1.48.1. My game is US retail, patched to 1.7.
Vista 32 bits Ultimate here, AV software / W Defender disabled too.
Ive sent you by PM a link so you could test the COD 4 .exe files (SP and MP).
Thanks a lot for helping. :)

All right. You're going to have to wait until next week for me to look at them, though. My video card died last week and my new one has an estimated arrival date of Tuesday next week. I'll take a look at those files then. I've got the files saved and ready. :)

Hey, good news, i got it working perfectly, i dont know why but i must start the widesreenfixer after launching the game.
If i run it before, it will simply refuse to work at all, ive checked it for six times - thanks for the fix, its perfect. :D

That's pretty weird. :o

At least it works that way. I wonder if something else running interferes with it when you launch the game.
