I wish the original was on PC... alas, it is not. It would be the awesomest thing every if they added the original into the PC version of BC2 but I guess that has about .01% chance of happening.

WSGF gets some credit!

A thread on the Electronic Arts UK Community Forums discusses widescreen support for Battlefield Bad Company 2, since DICE earned a 2008 Narrow Minded Award from the Wide Screen Gaming Forums for their shortcomings in this regard (thanks PC Games Hardware).

This,

Would have saved me a lot of money too, would have never brought an XBox if BC1 was PC!

And cool to see another mention of the awesome work done here.

It's not like I'd ever play a game like this, but I half want to buy it just to support them if they get the FOV/aspect/res support right...

The original had a great story mode from what I have read, I think you would be happy with it.

Yeah I enjoyed the SP, it had some good humour in it. The actual gameplay was OK, nothing ground breaking, but the story was funny. With Haggard and Sweetwater in the background of all the cut-scenes taking the michael out of each other, playing rock-paper-scissors etc...

.. as to the gold bling Hind with a disco ball in the troop compartment, I LOL'd :)
