Wouldn't it be amazing to play Uncharted 2 or Halo Reach or God of War 3 in surround? But at least 360 games eventually get ported over (gears of war, probably halo 3 eventually). It seems impossible for PS3 games to be ported, which is a real shame considering how many AAA titles they've had in the last year.

Agreed. This is why we hope for the emulator scene. But really, they havn't finished the xbox project (only like one game plays, some other can actually load up). The 360 and ps3 have next to nothing emulator wise.

I dont get how they got the wii emulator out before any 360 or PS3 emulators. Werent those the ones that were basically PCs in a box?

Yes. Very very specialized, powerful PCs in a box. Which makes them harder to emulate.

It also helped that the Wii is basically a Gamecube, so they just added onto the Gamecube emulator that was already in development.

The PS3 and Xbox 360 has a lot of specialized hardware, which made them hard to emulate. (The PS3 has an 8 core powerpc cpu, the xbox 360 has a 3 core powerpc cpu.)

You're not missing too much for God of War 3. I got an opportunity to have a PS3 hooked up to my monitor for a few days and GOW3 was the most boring game of the bunch i had available. Boring to PLAY, not boring to watch.

The Metal Gear games are the only ones i really miss out on playing. And fighting games, when i have the occasional itch.

Really? Nothing at all? Not even press vids from ATI about Eyefinity? I am surprised.
