And a answer from Bioware

The 1.01 patch is out: http://social.bioware.com/game_patches.php and does address issues with "extremely" wide-screen resolutions.

Owen.

Cool, but by then we'll probably all have beaten the game at least once :(.

You completed it already then?

:P

I bought the game too.

Really fast responce from Bioware, I immediately installed patch after game installation and videos play fine.

I agree with xetura, I hope they fix the thing with the taskbar, it's annoying to use it at the left monitor.

Also at times I have "color blinks" (don't know how to describe it better) on the right monitor (more rarely on the left). Otherwise the games runs smoothly on 5760*1200.

Hopefully a patch will address these issues.

Holy shit, fastest time around for a patch ever :o

Good job, BioWare, ATI ! 8)

EDIT: Yeah, when you're in third person mode things at "long" distances disappear (in front on the middle monitor). Pretty weird since everything was fine on single monitor resolutions.

I'm having major issues with 5040x1050 in this game. Stuff just disappears in front of me like trees and grass sometimes. Do any of you have this issue? If I run it on single screen, I do not have this problem.

I have the same problem too apart from the other problem mentioned on previous post (semi-transparent rectangle flashing randomly on monitor connected with dp adapter)

Im just giving the game a trial right now, wont give it my full attention until I am done with Torchlight, but I applied the new patch and was able to play 5760x1200 and see the cut scenes. Game runs pretty well about 30fps or so with a 5870 at that resolution.

I have seen some graphic anomalies though and not sure if its due to the extra fov and resolution.

Character models like to "blend" with background objects if they are "active" objects. Like the distortion effect from a fires' flame or the crystals in the wall at the Dwarfen castle.

It seems to happen really bad at cut scenes, cant say I really noticed it when outside of them though. I also had a NPC's face totally dissapear one time and get replaced with the texture of the background behind it.

I think this will be an enjoyable game and I am glad to see it support surround resolutions.

Now I just wish Last Remnant did :( I wanted to play that one but its hard to now when other games support surround and it does not.
