Yeah, I got the drivers in the wee hours of Saturday morning. Always nice to see NVidia on top with drivers, as usual.

The demo is awesome! I've been playing it all day just screwing around with stuff trying different things. I was able to get 15-35 FPS using 3072x768 resolution with everything on High except Post Processing(medium). The game runs nice for me since I figured out which res to use. 3840x1024 runs on my system but its not playable in game... I have to put everything a low and some medium to play in the 3840x1024 res. I even set the resolution to 3072x768 in the multi player beta too and I get the same results with very good FPS.

I spent a while last night testing the quality/performance impact of the various settings, and I settled on:

2400x600 resolution

Object Detail: Low
Shader Quality: Medium
Everything else: High

With everything on Low, I can have object detail set to medium and it's playable, high is choppy++

I was disappointed to see that despite the hype not everything is destroyable , so far, all I've found are the palm trees and certain parts of certain buildings that can be destroyed :(

Still it looks amazing, and the Crysis editor is my new favourite toy! :)

Now all I need is several grand to buy a system capable of running it properly...

couple things I thought I'd mention:

the red dot on the reflex sight appears to be stretched... nothing else is so I'm curious why it's streched.

I know it wasn't mentioned here, but if you ARE using the nvidia drivers version 169.01 AND using the 64-bit binaries for the game (this happens be default if you have XP or VISTA 64-bit) then you game might be locking up when you start it. If you go into the custom profile in the nvidia control panel for crysis and force VSYNC (I forced mine off but apparantly it works if you force it on too), then the game should run. Took me a while to dig up that solution and not sure what causes it, but *shrug* now it's out there.

Thanks for that, and welcome to the WSGF. I will try a bit of lovely DX10 action on my 24', my PC hasn't got the guts for TH2Go at very high!
