hey guys,quick question,

i am looking into setting up a triple monitor setup,i was looking into the dell 23" or dell ultrasharp 24,however the price of the ultrasharp 24 is expensive just now.

I have found a few LCD TV's that have a 1920x1080 res with HDMI/component etc (no display port obv)
How does LCD TV's look in triple monitor setup, the reason i ask is that i am currently using a PIONEER 44 inch at 1366x768 and the pic quality is excellent for gaming so how would it look going to 3 dell monitors or 3 lcd tv's,

i am looking for the PRO's and CONS of using a LCD Monitor(dell 23/24) Vs TV (samsung 23/27)please.

If a tv supports the high res would it look good in a triple setup,i am kinda looking for my PS3/360 and a FREEVIEW TV picture to run in my multi monitor setup and dont know what to look into more.

The tv doesnt have a display port so how would i use eyefinity for setup?

thanks guys

Well what's good for you is that today I just went downstairs and hooked up my 2 x 30"rs up with my 50" and I must say I'm really disappointed with my TV.

My monitors are in every way better than my TV except for one.
--The HDTV is larger.

The input lag on my TV is so bad that my outside reacted without any noticable lag, the TV move almost 3/4 of a second later.
The color on my TV is pretty terrible in comparison. (This is a newer samsung plamsa btw)
The monitors are much crisper at 1080p then the HDTV (which is native 1080p)

I have to say that monitors are better in everyway unless you are going to be farther away from your display, then getting a display with a larger pixel pitch is worth it.

But IPS Panel monitors are the way to go.

Here's what I ended up with: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=2673&p=200433#p200433
You can see the lag in the video.

If you are using LCD TV, you might be farther towards with your monitor for better display. For playing or gaming purposes, LCD TV is better than TV. However, you will be suffered with the price of this LCD TV.
