[quote]Looks great, thanks for posting EvilEngineer, if possible could you please add some comparison screenhots (gameplay, menu and cut-scenes) to the game's Detailed Report - http://widescreengamingforum.com/dr/batman-arkham-city/en ? Im still downloading the game and i will be able to play it just tomorrow.
This would help lots of users.
Posted an initial update with screen shots and rating based on the calculator.
I've only tested in 3x1 L so those running the other modes will need to let us know if they work too.
My resolution is 3930x1024 on very high settings. I do notice a stutter though with the graphics loading menus and the such... probably loading delay. I'm going to test to see if there is a performance boost moving the game over to my SSD later on.
Running 5916x1200 on 2x gtx570s and just for giggles when I initially launched the game I set everything on max, dx11 on, tessellation high.
The game runs albeit not ideally. FRAPS puts the frames around 24 most the time out in the city, frequent drops in to the teens and single digits. Indoors it stays around 38fps with some 25fps drops here and there and sometimes as high as 50.
Rotating quickly will initially drops the frames outdoors to single digits but it recovers nearly instantly back to 24. There are also some chug spots like its loading stuff but SSD should make this a non-issue.
I would have hoped for better optimizations but I guess I'll have to wait for new drivers/game optimization patch and lower the settings a bit.
EDIT:
I was reading on Nvidia forums and it turns out its just a lousy DX11 implementation.
I disabled DX11 with everything else on max and now in the city outdoors frame rate never goes below 57 and never over 62 (with vertical sync off in options). Indoors 54-60fps. Funny how it really won't go over 60fps with vertical sync off. Appears to not be working correctly.
Game is mint with DX11 off though. No stutters down to 5 or 1 fps, high fps and doesn't change the look of the game a lot. It is visually a little different but framerate is king.
