Hi! With multi-monitor and ultrawide gaming, some I have one app in particular that seems to have problems when my total resolution in Windows is over a certain amount. Without having to change my monitor configuration to run this one app, I'd like to tell the app I only have 1 screen or at least, restrict it to a certain resolution.

Does software for that purpose even exist? Is it possible to do this without a VM?

Requirements:
- Doesn't change my Windows resolution.
- Hooks into an app and makes it think my total Windows resolution is a lot smaller than it is.

I use Display Fusion to slice up my top monitor (3 monitors below, 1 top). My top monitor is used for TeamSpeak, Chat windows and maps, browsers while I'm using the lower 3 for a game. It's not quite limiting the app to a certain resolution. It's restricting the app to a virtual monitor. So when you maximize the app (near that area), it maximizes to that sliced up monitor dimensions.

Hope this helps. :onethumb:

I have DisplayFusion; it doesn't do what I need :/. It's really limited by the fact that the app itself limits the colors to 256 colors if the total windows resolution is too large. So I'd like to limit the app to a smaller resolution so this isn't a problem.

The only solution I've thought up so far is sub-par, but requires a VM.
