Discovered the problem was my Laptop. This is a known issue for ASUS G73(JH) models when using other than the stock 9.x Catalyst drivers. I had updated to 10.3 and was having the problem. Turns out to be a clocking issue with the vBios on the ATI 5870. ASUS provided an out of band fix that seems to have resolved the issue. It required flashing the Bios which was not difficult. BTW this issue is referred and the GSOD or Grey Screen of Death or Grey Stripes of Death :)

Hi All,
Hope I can get some help with this issue I am having. Just got a new TH2GO digital setup for xmas and although it works for general use I am finding that when running games in widescreen I get the vertical lines shown in the image. The PC needs to be hard booted. They usually show up about 3-5m into playing. Any ideas...
I have searched for others with similar issues but I have had no luck...
Setup is a ASUS g73jh laptop, ATI 5870 GPU, ASUS (3) VH232 monitors.
