In an attempt to narrow down what's working for whom, pls post the following:

1. DO YOU CURRENTLY HAVE 5040 WORKING? (YES / NO)
2. OS model & version
3. Matrox driver version
4. Firmware version
5. Graphics driver make & version
6. Monitor make & version
7. CPU make/model
8. Motherboard chipset
9. Graphx card make/model
10. Did you have to put in a custom res via NVidia CPL? (YES / NO)
11. If you have 5040 working, what's your refresh freq?

Admins/moderators/facilitators, if you can think of anything I have missed or fat-fingered, pls rectify. :D

Also, PLS DO NOT POST REQUESTS OR QUESTIONS IN THIS THREAD. All that is desired from each post is a numbered list like the above with as little amplification as possible. If you do not have an answer for a specific question, then put in "N/A" or "I don't know".

We get enough responses to this, and we may be able to narrow down what the issue(s) is/are.

Considering how frustrated most of us are with this situation, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for any data you can jot down here...

EDIT: While not a statistically relevant sample size by any means, the results so far are interesting. Not a single Core i7 user can claim functionality (with divers other than the "beta" GXM and NVidia driver 182.50; I had it working in Vista Pro 64 with those), while every single Core2 user can.
