hi guys I was hoping I can get some advice here. I want to buy a TH2GO to go along with my 4870x2 setup (might be upgraded soon). I also want to buy 3 x LCD screens. I can not make up my mind when it comes to screens. I would like a 23" and up however, the TH2GO can not do 3x1920x1200 so I am wondering if I should just get 3x22" (or 21.5") which would work at native 3x1680x1050. I thought it might be better to buy a screen that has 1920x1200 (or 1080) resolution if down the track I decide to upgrade to a better TH2GO box which will support 3x1920x1200 (or 1080). these are the options of monitors I have here locally (Sydney Australia): 21.5" AOC 2236VW 21.5" Samsung 2233SW 21.5" Asus VH222T 21.5" Benq G2220HDA 21.5" Benq G2220HD 21.5 Benq E2200HD 21.5" Viewvsonic VX2233WVM and VX2260WM 22" LG 2252TQ-PF 22" Samsung 2243BW+ 23" - too many to list (but was considering either X233H or X243HQ) any advice on which monitor setup to get would be great ! and also if I should get bigger screens and run non native resolution or get smaller screens and run native resolution. thanks! |

If you get a decent 24" it doesnt matter about running it in native or not, ive found it to looks crisp and clean at 1680x1050 on my Samsung 2443BWs. Personally your going to have to pick your own monitor out :P Just check the working list in the sticky in this forum to make sure they are compatible. For my money, id get a 2243BW+ (unless you ant bigger, get the 2443) as its is a good clean looking monitor and picture quality is great. |
