Hi all,

We recently released SGU v2.11 with 15 new titles and updated the Surround Gaming Page with new feature pages and screenshots:
http://www.matrox.com/graphics/surroundgaming/en/home

(copied from my v2.10 announcement post since this info is still relevant):
As mentioned in previous posts, most of the new titles natively support TH2Go by design as a result of patches/custom integration by developers. Many of you on this forum will probably already have these games on your radar, but feel free to spread to word to other Th2Go users who may not be familiar with all the new games playable in TripleHead.

(Note also that tested expansion packs are being listed as separate titles in the SGU and supported games list in order to avoid any confusion and to cater to stand-alone expansion versions).

The new games added to this release are as follows:

ArmA 2
BattleForge
Drift City
East India Company
Killing Floor
netKar Pro
Overlord 2
Rail Simulator 2: RailWorks
Reflex XTR
RACE On
Rise of Flight
Street Racer Europe
Velvet Assassin
Volvo The Game
X-Motor Racing

There will soon be more games released that will support TripleHead2Go natively. Titles such as NFS: Shift and DiRT 2 are good examples. As more and more developers see the value of adding TripleHead support, the need for the SGU will be minimal. We will continue to update the SGU adding these natively compatible games (simply for the sake of having a consise list for customers within the SGU), but the SGU will obvisouly not be required.

...And again, thanks to this community for being an amazing resource for TripleHead2Go users! The acceptance of TripleHead2Go by gamers and developers is hinged on communities like this that have the power, voice, and ability to make a real difference for everyone.

Cheers!

Mark

Thanks much Matrox for your continued support and for working with developers and publishers to increase support and usability of the Matrox TH2G.

I am wondering how the SGU will be usable on ATI Eyefinity and the mView product. Or more specifically what is the stance of Matrox as far as SUG being used on competing products.

I am also wondering about any patents that Matrox holds or has applied for are or are not related to the two aformentioned products.

Finally I many months ago I worked at an outsourcing company in downtown Montreal called Babel Media for video game QA and wondered what would happen if Matrox approached video game outsourcing companies like Babel Media, Bug Tracker and Volt Canada offering TH2G units for TH testing of games by these companies.

OFC I understand that the way I present the idea would probably work but with refinement it could be a very effective approach to start getting devs and publishers to support TH.

Awesome, I had been trying to get killingfloor hud to not stretch, let's see the results.

EDIT: Here's an Update on the Results of Using the new Update:

In order for me to use the SGU to configure it, I had to put the game back in my steam folder. That's okay for who ever doesn't have a designated Games Folder, but I do so that was a little annoying. But the one thing that I didn't like, after all that the HUD was still stretched. I'm guessing Matrox ran into the same Problem I had trying to correct it.

You have GOT to be joking!
How can you thank them for increasing support and usability of a product that is NOT supported under Vista beyond Nvidia drive 182.5 ??

They don't support windows 7 at all.

Frankly, I'm amazed they're bothering with the SGU when the driver support is abysmal.

With the Release of Ati's new card with the "eyefinity" then Matrox better get cozying up to Nvidia and get some of the better performing 190.xx drivers to work with this product , ot it's dead.

"Increase support and usability"

I nearly fell off my chair. Thanks matrox for your continued total lack of driver support with Nvidia cards, and leading the device into the abyss of useless expensive toys.
