Just a quick question. I bought Tomb Raider Underworld and it doesn't run at 5040 x 1050. So I'm hoping to play it on just one monitor, however I don't know how to get it to work without unplugging everything every time.

Is there an easy way any of you have figured out that you can switch between the center of the 3 monitors (as the 1 monitor you use) and switch between using all 3 relatively easy?

You don't have to unplug anything ! Using PowerDesk/GXM you can :
-go single-screen and "swap displays" until you get 1680x1050 on the center screen.
-attach a "profile" to your current res. Do it for 1680 "centered" and 5040.
-bind a Hotkey to switch between resolution profiles. I used Alt+X.
(I don't have GXM installed atm, but it's all pretty straightforward when you know what you're looking for...)

That's it, now with a press of your hotkey you can instantly switch from your regular TripleHead desktop to 1680x1050 on the center screen and be ready to play those tripleheadophobic titles :)

Ran into a problem finding how to set just one monitor.

How is this done? I think I know how to do everything else in your post, though.

What problem do you run into ??
Just change your display resolution to 1680x1050, either in Matrox GXM or Windows Display Properties. Two screens will go blank.

When I click on "Change" and then click 1 monitor and click 16:10, 1680 x 1050 shows up but the Apply but is grayed out so I cannot change it.

Also, on the windows resizer for nvidia, it does not show 1680x1050, only 1600x1200.

1) Does 1680x1050 work when you disconnect the TH2G and use a single screen directly connected to your graphics card ?
2) With TH2G back in place, did you point Windows to GXM.ini as the "monitor" driver ?

Yes, native resolution of the monitors is 1680 x 1050.

Monitor driver is set to "Matrox TripleHead2Go".

Here is a screen shot of it.. I just found out regardless of what resolution I click they are all grayed out. Not sure what that means :shock:
