You can try that now. plug your screens into 2 different cards, 1 each.
See if you can use the NV control panel to play on different screens, TH is just one screen to windows.

All right folks....Deal is done.

I installed the 24" Dell(s) and am running one game (Colin .... DiRT) for now, which is amazing.

I did opt to run and configure SoftTH, as it allows me to run the game at more the native resolution which is (5280x1200) crazy.... and so incredible of an experience. And it was so easy to setup. Not like the old times when I tried it when it was first announced, and I had a 20-30-20 combination of monitors. Now, with 3x24, it makes it REALLY easy.

Now, I'll need to mount my 30" on the wall above the craziness. For the simple fact I don't want to sell it, and I can't "shelf it".

Thanks for all your help.

.... I can now cancel the TH2Go that I ordered. Woo Hoo!

Nice setup!

If I had a second GPU I would try out SoftTH just for giggles. Sounds like it has matured quite a bit.

Good for you!

By the way, I've tried SLI with SoftTH (two 8800GTX cards in SLI, and a 8400GS conneced to side monitors for SoftTH). SLI offers no performance increase when used with SoftTH, so I ended up selling one of the 8800GTX cards.

Yeah if the games you play, and intend to only play those games for a lnog time (like a lot of hard core simmers) are supported by SofTH, then SofTH is full of win...

But if you are a hardcore gamer but a tart like me (flitting from game to game ;)) then TH is the way to go :)

I'm probably the latter....

As yes, I like to play many games in one evening. I can't stand to get stuck on one for hours and hours (like CounterStirke - which sucks me in), and neither can my lovely girlfriend (she calls it - "the chair kidnappers")

I received the TH2G via FedEx today... so, I might unbox it and give it a whirl. Worst case... I return it if the resolution sucks or if I notice a huge difference.

.... either way, i appreciate all the feedback I received. Thanks!

I installed the TH2Go tonight.... and, honestly... I think I like SoftTH better for 'accuracy' in DiRT. It seems the TH2Go stretches the image across all 3 screens, and ends up distorting the image.

SoftTH doesn't distort as much, and actually keeps the "HUD" items on the main center screen. Th2Go has them stretched on left and right screens... and honestly, it's quite hard to 'drive' and stay on course (comparing to SoftTH anyway).

... has anyone else ran into this??? Or tried both to evaluate?!

I'm going to try COD4 as well, and see if that is do-able... or just too much of a stretch as well. If it's all stretch images and gameplay... then it's not worth the $300 for the Th2Go.

Or, maybe I'm not doing something right. I'll give it a day or two and do some more research.

In the meantime... if anyone has found what I have to be true, or not... speak up. Enlighten me!!

EDIT:
I read up... and blam'o... got it figured out. THANKS to this thread; :D
