Yes it appears the test mode does not allways detect if it has passed or failed correctly. Seem to be sensitive too becuase it will pass everytime with my 8800GTX but failed with my 280GTX, untill I swapped the cables over, despite using the same monitors.
I think Riva Tuner allows you to force a resolution, I haven't tried it though. Now that I have it working, I do not want to mess with it.

I just got an email back from Matrox, with an apology for slow reply due to high volume of mail!

However they have a beta PD-SE for GTX260,280 so hopefully they'll send me that and I'll upload it if it works :)

Ask Matrox, I guess it is a problem with the driver difference?

Exactly where did you ask Matrox? What email-address?

Well here is a link for those who want to try the BETA. It is for NVidia 200 series cards only, give it a try. I won't be able to until tomorrow.

EDIT: OBVIOUSLY USE AT YOUR OWN RISK, IF IT GOES PEAR SHAPED YOU HAVE NO COME BACK TO MATROX!

Has anybody tried this beta version with a card other than the Nvidia 200 series, such as the Nvidia 8800gt?

Has anyone figured out a solution to the problem when you create a custom resolution on the NVIDIA control panel it "works" then says failed, then reverts back? I have the GeForce 9800 GT driver 181.20 and I am trying to create a 5040x1050 57 hz for my TH2Go. It is driving me nuts! I have it hooked to 3 Dell 2208WFP monitors. I have searched a lot and can't find a great solution. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. I have also emailed Matrox support.

Thanks!!
