Hi, this is my first post on these boards and am preparing to order a Digital Triple Head2Go along with 3 Monitors, and wanting some input on how this build looks:

1x Digital Triple Head2Go
3x http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009094

I am looking for a mount to hold the 3 22" LCDs, if anyone knows a good wall mount to hold them all that would be great.

Also, if anyone has any input on better monitors, would love to hear it: would be willing to pay about $50-$75 more per monitor than the acer listed above.

thank you for any information you can give me

Forgot to mention:
Will be running it on my alienware m15x laptop.
NVidia 8800M GTX videocard
Intel 2.8 extreme processor
4GB ram
windows vista 32 bit

will this be able to handle it?

Ya there;s no way that laptop would run those three monitors at native resolution . At least now well enough for you to be happy with it. I'd think that if you can afford that hardware and a 3-monitor mount, then you can afford a desktop... sorry.

There are links to good monitor mounts on this site somewhere. A sponser, i think. I looked at getting onewhen i got my second monitor and discovered i was too cheap to pay such prices, so i made my own out of steel and wood. It took a few hours of tweaking but it got done and i'm pretty happy with it. The side arms articulate and it's mounted to my wall.

But it's pretty heavy. I'd guess about 25kg.

not to mention that i heard there are some problems with acer (widescreen)monitors running at 1680x1050x3 @ 57hz ... they seem to be not liking to run with 57hz

a friend of mine had 3 acer widescreens (i guess almost the same you posted link to) and now he got new ones from a different brand

HannsG monitors are also quite good for about the same price

Yeah i would stay away from that model of Acer, i purchased 2 of them thinking oh great reviews, good monitor, decent price. It looks like they wont run 1680x1050 @ 57hz http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/9407 so I'm out $450
