That resolution is not selectable in game, highest I get is 4320x900 @ 60hz. I had same problem with Dead Space 1. Maybe some other game too. I'm using triplehead2go digital of course. I remember reading there was a trick you can do to fool the game but I can't find it. How do you make it work?

I played it with what I had. It was visually good but could have been better. I'm soon changing to nv surround so no more this problem unless nv surround sucks and I'm back to TH2Go.

Play it in DX9. You cant do DX10 / 11 in anything less than 60Hz. It's odd I know.

yeah i can see 4320x900 in the setting menu but no 5040x1050.i tryed to change my resolution in the config file but no change.all my other game are working fine in 5040x1050.

Whoa, interesting. The only thing I can see getting in the way is DX10 but again it shouldn't run on XP (unless you downloaded the Unofficial Port of DX10 to XP). Did you try running 5040x1050@59Hz (59.998 or some shit like that).

thanks for your help. no i did not downloaded the unofficial port.i just tryed to create a custom resolution using 59.998hz.using the custom resolution am able to see 5040x1050 in the graphic menu of dead space.but when i try to apply it in game my screen goes black as usual when you apply a new resolution but dont came back.after 5-10sec i get a blue screen and my computer restart :(
