Hi first of all awesome forum.
i currently have a rather strange problem and cannot figure it out, the problem first appeared when i loaded up a save of mass-effect. previously the game had been working fine with 3 Ben Q 24" wide screen monitors (model et0027b), but when the game loaded it seemed to be zoomed in, I checked the resolution in game (5040 x 1050 thanks elior77), the desktop shows fine it only happens when i play games??
so i reset the settings to default in the th2g no change even if i run the standard highest res same problem so i thought it could be a problem with the config files, so i re-installed the game no change. by this stage i was pritty frustrated! so i re-installed windows, still no go.
i have exhausted all the options that i can think of maby a fresh perspective will shed light on the situation.
my system is as follows

asus p6t intel mobo
intel i7 920 @2.6 GHz
6 gig ddr3 1300mhz ram
XFX 9800 GTX

running windows 7 ultimate 64bit

thanks in advance

Hey ... welcome to the forum ... 8)
I don't believe Mass Effect does the FOV or the HUD correctly for TripleHead ... hence it is appearing zoomed in for you.

As for the resolution ...
I think the problem maybe that you are running it DX10 ... many/most games don't seem to work at 5040x1050 with the TH2G and DX10.

On another note ... to get your single screen resolution onto your center screen look here ... http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=14184&p=136116#p136116

thanks for the reply paddy
i had a bit of a fiddle and i can get 1600 x 1024 (16:10) this has the screen spread about an inch either side on the the 1st and 3rd monitor. I am trying to figure out one of two things either the maximum horizontal resolution with a vertical of 1024 or trying to figure out if it needs to be in 16:10 format.

the thing that gets me is that it was working fine in 3840x1024 all be it a little stretched now even at that res it is zoomed in, i will try and fiddle with the fix and see if that sheds some light.

thanks
