Hi,

You might have heard of AMD Crimson, the replacement for AMD Catalyst Control Center. New User Interface and a lot of new Features.
You can read about it there: http://www.anandtech.com/show/9811/amd- ... r-overview
And you can download it from AMD: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/d ... ws+10+-+64

Well, why should we care about that?
A: Custom Resolutions
B: Automatic Eyefinity Profiles per game.

Well A: isn't that important as this was possible via CRU software a long time ago, but B: is a real gem.

There is also the "Quick Setup" for Eyefinity without bezel correction that works realy quick, and you shoul probably activate this before starting a Game in Eyefinity with the automatic mode. I've had some quirks with games not being used to run in 5760x1080 after the new driver installation. But in the 2nd try the automatic mode works flawless.

Automatically activate Eyefinity for this Game:

And here we have the proof of concept how awesomely this works:

I think i'm gonna setup this option for all games i use in Eyefinity and don't need presets and hotkeys anymore.

But it seems like this does not work with Bezel correction :(
Or at least not for me.

can I disable eyefinity from my "main" setup? I'd like to only use it when gaming, but have it disabled when surfing/working...

I was wondering when they'd get around to releasing those. They've been using that terrible CCC interface for too long. I'm tempted to try them out, but brand new drivers are often too much of a pain, and seeing you had trouble with bezel compensation scares me out of it. Not having it on drives me nuts. you have me thinking is was a Win10-only thing, but i found the Win7x64 version here: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows+7+-+64

Leonelf: I used to turn Eyefintiy on/off for gaming/non-gaming. But I recently started using DisplayFusion, which sets virtual screen edges so I can maximise windows to screens edges with EF enabled. Now I keep EF on all the time.

Well yeah, there seem to be some little bugs.
But bezel correction itself works fine, if you activate "Advanced eyefinity mode" and not the quick one.
It's just that if you use the "automatic Eyefinity" switch in the profiles it does NOT switch into the pre defined bezel corrected EF resolution but into the normal one. Activating Eyefinity normally gives Bezel correction.

Oh that's good.

Leonelf, I tried to send you a PM, but it won't let me add you to the recipients. Fire on off to ME, and I'll get ya back.

Total res boost for me... with the virtual super res option. went from 5760x1080 to 7940x1440
Some games seem to not like it so far but DeusEx: HR handled it great

what? How? I get a 9600x1800 with VSR activated.

Edit: The Bezel Correction was a problem with my system.
After a DDU uninstall of the Beta drivers, a reinstall of Crimson, a advanced Setup of Eyefinity and Bezel correction setup, then disable Eyefinity, set the Options in game profile it now switches to 6048x1080 Eyefinity when the game Starts :)

You probably need to set Bezel correction the first time you setup an Eyefinity resolution.
