Got some questions about 4 monitor setups (probably basic and simple for people who already have 4 monitors setup).

Post subject:  Got some questions about 4 monitor setups (probably basic and simple for people who already have 4 monitors setup).

Looking to do a 3 over 1 setup. I have 3 setup right now and want a utility monitor for other things while I have a game up. Have the 4th monitor just waiting for my WSGF stand to come in to hook it up. I'm running a 6950 2gb x 2 crossfire setup. I have a Sandybridge processor but disabled the on chip video as when I first set it up it was causing issues with my crossfire but not sure if that's been solved or not. What I'm wondering is will the crossfire setup be able to run a 4th monitor and/or is that optimal? If they can should I do that or should I look into enabling the on chip video or get another video card for just the 4th display? Will I be able to have the start bar on the 4th monitor (I assume so) and will I be able to be able to use the 4th display while playing a game on the other 3 or will it be blacked out or some other shenanigans I haven't thought of? Probably should have checked into all this before I bought the 4th display and stand but hey where would the fun in that be? lol

If you can use 4 monitors or not is depending on your GPU. You'll need at least 2xDVI (Or 1xDVI+1xHDMI) +2xDP.

No idea how getting a 4th display running on intel iGPU works.

These are the two cards I am using:

The second one is the one I am using to output the video so I assume I'll be good for the most part...?
