The 6970 and 6950 can only run two of the three none DP outputs at a time, ie the DVI-D, DVI and HDMI. If you want to run four displays you need to use both Display Ports, then any two of the other ports.

thanks
according you said, i tried this configuration
1. DVI
2. DVI
3. DP + active usb
4. DP > addap to DVI ( without active usb )

eyefinity works well with the first 3 but it doesn't recognize the 4th.
so what are my options ?
if i'll install second graphics card, the msfs will work with 2 cards ? it will recognize the 4th monitor ?

Thanks

Menachem

Your card should be able to output 4, both DPs need to be active adaptors, although they don't need to be usb powered. One sec I'll dig out the cheap one I use.

Edit: Something along the lines of this http://www.scan.co.uk/products/xfx-active-mini-dp-to-single-link-dvi-dongle-retail-boxed so long as your not running a 30'' monitor.

Edit 2: To answer your other question, if you installed another graphics card that'll work as well so long as you don't enable crossfire, but you should be able to do it with just one.

im not on AMD crads atm, but from what i can tell from the AMD site you need to use 2x DP, 1x hdmi and 1x dvi, if your card has other combinations it may not work.
It does say that many 6970s have the right amount of ports, but it depends on make. it also says you can use a VGA in place of the hdmi or DVI, but i assume your card doesnt have a vga anyway..
and if you adapte a DP to DVI, it needs to be an active adapter.

i just grabbed the info from here:
http://www.amd.com/us/products/technologies/amd-eyefinity-technology/how-to/Pages/how-to.aspx
and clicked "set-up, learn more" picked 4 monitors and gaming high end.

nope ! If you're running 1920x1080 or lower you can use Either DVI or HDMI as you like!

If you want 2560x1440 or such you need Dual-DVI (which is only the upper DVI Port, the lower is Single Link) or HDMI.
