Hi guys,
I really need to get this problem sorted within the next couple of hours, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I am trying to get my 3 x 23" Samsung SyncMaster BX 2350 monitors working through Eyefinity, but am having problems. I am using Windows 7 ultimate, an Intel Q8300 Quad core processor, 8GB DDR2 Ram and finally a Radeon HD 6850 Graphics card.
Before we go any further, I will explain that two of the monitors are connected via DVI, the other is connected to the display port via an active Accell adapter. Before I go into the Catalyst Control Centre, all three monitors work perfectly as extended displays, each at 1920 x 1080. however I need to set up one large display in order to use Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Firstly in Catalyst I duplicate all three monitors, then try to turn them into a group. The system does this but keeps them duplicated (it does not turn into one long display). Going into display properties, the option for 5750 x 1080 is there, but every time I select it and click apply it stays at 1920 x 1080.
I have tried everything in Catalyst an the image will not go larger. If I go into the Windows Display Resolution, it shows all three monitors grouped together. The resolution is set to 1920 x 1080, but their is an option to change it right up to 5750 x 1080. If I do this, the resolution manager stops responding and crashes, reverting back to 1080 x 1920.
I know my system can run this, as I am currently using all three monitors as an extended display, each at 1920 x 1080, so why cant i set it up as one long eyefinity display?
Any help would be massively appreciated.
