Post subject: | Trouble with monitor not scaleing with Eyefinity |
I have 3 24" monitors, 2 of them are AOC 2436V and have a max res of 1920x1080 and the other one is a little taller it's a Sceptre X24WG and has a max res of 1920x1200. When I extend the desktops the image is even (top and bottom) throughout the displays. My taller display scales and there are bars on top and bottom which is ok. When I enable my Eyefinity group, my taller monitor doesn`t scale to match the other 2. Is there a way to make this possible with Eyefinity? I'm using a XFX 6850 Black Edition card. 2 DVI monitor outputs and 1 DisplayPort output with an Accell active adapter. |

I get this when using my non-native Eyefinity resolutions (even though all my displays are the same native res..) I got around it by changing the aspect ratio behaviour in my displays' OSD. You can also try to alter the display-specific scaling option in CCC. Open CCC (Catalyst Control Centre), then click "My Digital Flat-Panels", then click on the Properties section. Select the display you wish to change the options for at teh top, then select/change GPU scaling. |

Abram, I've tried to adjust the GPU scaling option and it works when the desktops are in extended mode but not when I create a desktop group (eyefinity). My taller screen which is in the middle streches to fit the whole screen. |

Abram, Is their an option in the monitor OSD? As Abram said. On my "old" 20WGX2 it is called "Expansion Mode" and if I recall correctly, with this monitor I have, you can select 1:1 (no scaling), Scale to fit aspect ratio, so it maximised the horizonal/ verticle keeping aspect ratio, or fill, to fill the whole screen. Try looking there. |

Looking at the manual, you can only do it via the monitor in the VGA mode (not DVI). It is listed under the Geometry > Format option. You would need to set that to 16:9. That would make the 1920x1080 signal not scaled. |
