Post subject:  Buying an Eyefinity Setup advice needed!

I currently just built a new computer. I decided to try out CF so i went and got dual 6950s (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161372). I also got the i7 2600k for ample cpu power.

Now i am trying to figure which monitor setup to purchase to hopefully eliminate as many potential problems when setting up eye-finity.
My monitor choice would be either the 23 inch or 24inch versions of the link below. Ive used dell in the past and loved there HD widescreen monitors.

And i am leaning towards to getting the ergotech triple monitor stand reviewed by this site.

I'm looking to run a 3x1 Landscape setup for gaming with BF3 and other new games.
Now i know enough to realize id need an active display port adapter due to the monitor not having the DP. But i've read some monitor present color variances and flickering when running eye-finity.
So if anyone could tell me if these would work well with my current setup or if there are better monitor choices out there to be for roughly the same price. Also if there's anything im missing please let me know.

Thanks

Post subject:  So long as your monitors

So long as your monitors match, you're likely to get matching color. I use a Dell centre and HP sides, and after a bit of color tweaking, I was able to get the colors VERY close. The flicker issue seems fairly random. Some get it all teh time, some, sometimes, some not at all.

That monitor stand is awesome, but that display you linked to does NOT support VESA mounting. (the 4 screwholes in teh rear to accommodate mounting) Luckily, Dell is one of teh few companies that show their VESA compatability with ease, and they have many models that supports VESA. Most other display manufacturers do, but LG is very bad for not. Just somethign to watch for if you want any after-market mounting.

It has vesa compliant mounting and should be more than good enough for my gaming needs.

Post subject:  Excellent choice. IPS

Excellent choice. IPS displays are soooo much better than TN panels. Great for multi-monitor.

On of that, you have no longer a need to get an active adapter, since you can use Displayport+DV+DVI.

Though, you WILL need (well, it's the cheapest) mini-DP to Displayport adapter. I suggest this one. I have one, it work flawlessly. and it's super cheap:

Monoprice.com, item 6008. it's a 10 footer, but they have other lengths.
