Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up, Catalyst 1.7 has just been released, also a 1.8 preview driver.

No doubt you mean 11.7 and 11.8 preview drivers.

I can confirm that the 11.8 preview driver supports 5x1 eyefinity. Finally more than one driver to choose from for my 6990!
