Widescreen Gaming Forum

Greetings all, I hate to introduce myself to the community here with a question, but alas, I have not found an answer to my question through searching the interwebs.

My question for you all is, is there a way to use a widescreen format wallpaper without using eyefinity? I have a few problems with the use of 5780x1080 format screen when playing certain games and widescreen gaming does not appeal to me. I am mostly into widescreen for the multitasking option and the ability to be watching a movie and playing a game at the same time.

So back to the question. Is there a way to keep my extended desktop, yet use a widescreen format wallpaper? I vaguely remember a desktop manager profiler type program that allowed the use of widescreen wallpaper as well as extending the toolbar throughout the entire screen and adjusting the taskbar buttons to correspond to the monitor the current window was being displayed on. Anyone familiar with that program or any other that would allow what I am looking for?
