I've just about finished my computer with an HD 5870 Eyefinity 6 Edition and now all I have left is to pick out which monitors to get. The configuration i'm going with is an array of 3 monitors in a display group on the bottom with 2 more extended and mounted on articulating arms above (for some extremely manuverable workspace while i'm gaming across the bottom 3).

Anyway, i'm looking for three 22" widescreen monitors with a resolution of 1920x1080, that also include a DisplayPort input so that I don't have to mess with the Active DisplayPort Adaptors. Price is a consideration and would love to find these three for around $200, but i know that's unlikely.

I've already picked out at least one of the two that'll go up top, a Samsung T220HD so I can double it as an HDTV. Any other suggestions would be great though.

I may be wrong, but, I think if you're limiting your options to 22 inch LCDs, you're going to find you're also limited to 1680x1050. For proper 1080p support, I believe you need to be looking at 24 inch LCDs.

The ones I've read most about...and which are very popular for Eyefinity...are those from Dell.

Actually you get 1080p monitors in sizes as low as 21.5 inch, I am using 3x22" myself.

As for your adaptor worries sonicmixer, please read this.. http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/wiki/ATI_Eyefinity_-_Ecosystem_September_2010
Or there is these...

21.5" 1080p with displayport input:-
Dell 2210H - Screen Type = TN.
Dell U2211H - Screen Type = IPS.
HP ZR22w - Screen Type = S-IPS.

To name just a few.

You will find the WSGF Monitor List quite handy ;)
