This is a weird bug.

Im using 10.4hotfix, and I cant do portrait mode. The problem actually started with my 10.3. I've had the same problem before with 10.1. I'm not the only one either since people have reported it on the AMD official forums.

Ive tried a clean install of 10.4 with driver sweeper, but no go. I think I might back up to 10.3, or possibly wait till official 10.4s at this point.

Has anyone else experienced this and were able to fix it?

I had exactly the same problem, a full driver cleaner did not eliminate the problem. I eventually fixed it by messing around with groups and enabling and disabling them and it sorted itself. Another apparent fix is to revert to 9.12

I have a similar problem.. I have 2 Dell P2310H's and my 3rd monitor is a Viewsonic, now during my last install of Win 7 I lost portrait mode at some point which came back permanently after I disconnected and reconnected the Viewsonic once. I'm pretty sure it had something to do with it rereading the monitor's EDID. Since I reinstalled Win 7 however (new mobo) I don't have portrait mode available for the Dell's if I have the Viewsonic plugged in at all. It's bizarre but if I disconnect the Viewsonic I get portrait back.. dunno what to do about it.

I don't play Eyefinity in portrait but I like to use one of the Dell's in portrait occasionally and having to disconnect a monitor to do it is a pain..

In a huge stroke of WTF.

I swapped the 2 DVI monitor cables. Like, with each other.

Got portrait mode back.

Now I just need bezel compensation...
