Since I didn't see anyone post. it heres some benchmake with Bezel Management enabled and disabled. using Catalyist 10.3 preview

Note My Setup:
3x 1920x1200 24" LCD
Raedeon 5870 stock speed
8gb DDR2
Intel Q6600 @ 3.2ghz
Windows 7 Ultimate

Resolution for testing:
Normal: 5760x1200
BM enabled: 6028x1200
Extra horizontal pixel: 268
% of extra pixel: 4.65%

GAME RESULTS: (I use the built in benchmark tools)
- all games tested with max settings
- no vsync, no AA, 16xAF

Dirt2:
BM on fps: 32.6
BM off fps: 33
% fps hit: 1.2%

Crysis:
BM on fps: 14.4
BM off fps: 15
% fps hit: 4.1%

Hawx:
BM on fps: 68
BM off fps: 70
% fps hit: 2.9%

FarCry 2:
BM on fps: 36.62
BM off fps: 37.85
% fps hit: 3.36%

World in Conflict
BM on fps: 31
BM off fps: 32
% fps hit: 3.22%

CONCLUSION:
Originally I was expecting the perfomrance hit to be 5% or higher but
It seems ATI did a pretty good job with the Bezel Management. Of course your amount of pixels to add to the virtual resolution will vary. But in the end, the % of performance hit on the FPS of a game in relation to the % of extra pixels added to the resolution is still noticeably less.

So we are pretty much giving up only a few FPS when enabling Bezel Management. That's not much to sacrifice for BM that looks better than the Matrox chopping off the screen technique. :rockout

so far I'm happy, though I just hope ATI don't fudge up this fps/extra pixel ratio on the official release of catalyst 10.3

BUGS I NOTICED with BM
1) on Dirt 2. even when BM resolution is enabled but I set my desktop to 5760 (BM off). The game would load and run at 6028 (bm enabled). even in the options it says 6028. but the game is actually running at 5760.

2) GRID and possiblly other game would crash to desktop when starting. if my desktop is set to 5760. but once i switch my desktop back to 6028 it would start fine.

Played some Dirt 2 today with BM on. Feels different, I think I like it better with it on. the 8% boost in performance from 10.2 finally lets me play with all High settings, before I was all High with Post Processing on Medium.

I wonder if maybe I can even manage the Ultra settings now.
