I've had my vizio 32" for about 2 months now and LOVE it!. It has amazing color once tweaked for its price range, I went through 4 monitors before setting on this tv. After picking up a 5970 I wanted to give eyefinity a try so I just picked up 3 cheap acer 24"s but couldn't stand the smaller lower quality panel for the center, missed my 32 bad.

So my question is will this be weird for gaming? I'm waiting on my adapter to get here so I cant try it out, all 3 panels are running 1080p so things wont quite line up, would I want the 24"s more centered with the 32?

thx guys, any input would be awesome :rockout

I think is looks alittle odd, but at the end it all depends does it bother you or not.

I'm actually trying to do something similar. I wonder what it would look like if you had the two 24" closer to you than the 32". Try it, does that make up for the size difference? Does it look weird?

I once wanted a similar setup, but i went against it because it was weird to me. (Plus the panel i had was only 1366x768 and the others were 1920x1080)

If it works for you, it doesn't matter if it's weird of not but i do have some Suggestions:

1. Buy 3 more 32"rs (get em cheap on craigs, the quality of those don't matter, except you want to match the resolution of you're middle panel.)
2. Move the monitors in more so that the bezels over lap to get rid of the gap.

I moved the 24's in a little so the black bars are smaller, looks much better thx!
I thought about taking my vizio back (90 day costco FTW)and the 24's back and getting 3 hitachi 32's, would cost me about 400$ extra at the end of the day but would never fit on my desk, my roommate sits just to my right with his soon to be eyefinity setup.

I need some mounts for the 24's, any cheap arms?

Get a Matrox box and flip those side monitors around.... otherwise - yes, it would look weird.

the 24's are TN's so that would prob look really bad and Im into gaming. I found some threads with users posting there eyefinity setups on hardforums, some with similar setups who were really happy. One guy had 1 27" and got 3 24's, same as me, he ended up keeping the 27 in the middle.

Waiting on my DP>VGA adapter, thursday :( ill report back.
