Lo all.
I've been dieing to setup a eyefinity system with a custom built game seat and want to confirm that i got it right before i start spending,

My plan is for a dual HD 5970 2048MB gamerig in crossfire running 3 x 50 inch full hd plasma tv's @ 5760x1080( yes, its a big room), and as i understand it, i can connect 2 of the tv's using dvi to hdmi cables, and an Active DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter which connects the display port of the 5970 with usb to the third tv's hdmi port, again with a dvi to hdmi cable.

Am i missing anything?

quite a lot of money from your wallet ?:P

but seriously,it sounds like it should work,
but afaik, some screens bring about problems(flickering etc) -even- with adapters
(which can sometimes be corrected by using powered usb hub/port to power the adapter itself)

You may want to flash your 5970 with the bios that correct the DP Flickering Issue.
