Having found you all to be most knowledgeable in the subject of wide screen gaming (and having recently joined here) I have a question that has been on my find for quite some time.

Will this 3x monitor setup work?

Regardless of the stats, those acers are ugly as sin...I dont think I could stand looking at three of em.

The other monitor has great resolution, but I personally would go with 1920x1200, that extra vertical goes a long way because, three monitors in landscape mode it plenty wide enough.

I would go gateway (i know I hear alot of booooooos here), but I really like my gateway 30" xhd 3000 and I almost wish I went three of these 24"s instead of my 30" and two dell 20"s

or if you really wanted to spend the coin that you would have for your first choice, I would absolutely go with three of these dells

I was thinking about Dell, but I just can't see why they are so much more than the other monitors.

The gateway looks good, but its contrast ratio isn't too good.

The Acer to me doesn't look that bad, so I don't have a problem looking at them. But hey, everyone to his own.

Any other monitor, maybe even some news on some of the new monitors that will support DP?
