hi everybody !
i'm so happy to having recieve my accell cable ( ultraAV display port to DVI-D )
bu I have a big problem with it !
i can't enter my resolution (1680*1050)

in the graphic control pannel i just look 1600*1200 or 1440*900 around this resolution...

and when try to use eyefinity, the resolution is not good and stretched...

do you have a solution for that ?

youhouuuuuuu !!
i found !
that's tips:

in catalst window go to gestion of monitors, do right clic on the bad monitor, properties..

a window appears with avvivo and HD parameters. in HD parameters activate 1080p 60Hz !

when you activate it, the correct resolution will appears in the windows 7 display configuration !

edit: but eyefinity doesn't work yet ...
arrrrgh !!!

the problem is not really solve, i have force the resolution when activate 1080p, but the image is "fade" (or melted, i don't know this word in english)
and i have try many test and at the end, the third screen refuse to work ! windows says he can't save my configuration, and ati drivers freeze and restart at the beginning when i try to activate my third screen...

i have doing system restauration and now i can re-activate my third screen but the bug with resolution is also here.

i'm waiting whql drivers from ati and i hope they will solve the problem...

Sounds like you have a mix of 16:10 and 16:9 monitors (or i misunderstood)

1680x1050 = 16:10
1600x1080 = 16:9

eyefinity only works with same resolution on all 3 screens.
what kind of monitors do you have?

i have only 16/10 monitors in 1680*1050. (three zalman trimon 22")

but in catalyst window i can activate a 1080p 60hz mode for hdtv. (by ticking a case)

but ticking this case don't force 1080p mode ! she juste allow me to setup this resolution in windows 7 resolution window. and between 1600*1200 and 1920*1080 there is ... 1680*1050 !!!

the resolution appears and i can select and apply her !!!

but with this method i can't activate eyefinity because it's a forced mode ! not a native mode... an activate eyefinity will appears 3 monitors in 1680*1050 in clone mode. i can't have one display with 5040*1050 and try to desactive eyefinity after that cause many bugs and black screens...

Try using the adapter in another one of the monitors. Maybe it's a monitor problem.

Sounds like your monitors support higher res than the native res (blame your scalers) . Eyefinity has been choosing the highest supported resolutions for the monitors (unfortunately) and a lot of people are having similar issues. There are a couple of ways to fix this:

1. Complain to ATI about the bad resolution selection.
2. Hack your monitors supported res. (this is an advance skill and is different for each monitor)

I do suggest option number 1 because we all would benefit.

i ran 3x acer v223w 22" 1680x1050 monitors at 5040x1050 no problem using the dell/bizlink adapter.

now running 3x asus 25.5 1920x1200 monitors, no prob.

What is the make and model of your monitors?
