So you've never had the stutter. It is so annoying!

Amazon don't ship that stuff here :(

What will I need to do 5x1 portrait on the 6970 or 6990 assuming the same set of connections. I have 3 dell native dp monitors. Would get two more but kind of confused on these new connections. Can I still use my monoprice mini dp to dp cables on the 6 series cards?

What would I need to get to do 5x1 portrait??

I had it when I tried Tri-Fire or Quad-Fire, so I know what it looks like. But never in normal CFX.

It can't be done on a 6970 - until DP 1.2 comes out. You need a card with six outputs like the Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity6. I predict that the 6990 will support five or six monitors.

Wasn't finished with the review at the time you posted this. Searching eh? ;-) It is done now.

Ohhh... Sorry... Yes, I was searching...

BTW, great review. I think i will get an 6970 to run 3 monitors.

Thanks a lot.

I just received my new Sapphire HD6970, but alas I am at work :(

How ever It did come with a mDP to DP converter, so I should then be able to attach my DP to DVI adapater......so many adapters.

I will likely pick up a mDP to DVI in the new year.
