I know it is long but please read it.
I came across this thread.

I noticed that the OP of that thread has just received one of the Sapphire branded Active Display Ports to DVI adapters but it is just a rebranded Bizlink and it is just like the one I have and all the numbers on back are the same as the one I have. This leads me to believe they didn't test it at all and have not done anything other then bought a bunch of them and are re selling them. So ATI must have been fine with that because there logo is on the box.
I am just trying to test this even further and try to figure out the real problem here.
So far it seems the problem is either
A. Driver issue " I think this is the real problem."
B. The output of the DP on card is not outputting correctly.
The reason I think this is the problem is because these adapters were originally designed to connect a 30" dell monitor to a dell system. This is the description from dell website and the link. "This DisplayPort™ to Dual-Link DVI Adapter Cable from Dell™
is used to connect DisplayPort output from your Dell systems to the Dual-Link DVI input of your Dell UltraSharp 3007WFP monitor. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems for use with the Dell UltraSharp 3007WFP monitor. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system."

There is also an Apple DP to DVI adapter that people are exp flashing with. It was made for the same purpose but connecting a Apple monitor to a Macbook or something like that but the same concept as what we are doing with Eyefinity.
But the funny thing is only the people who are using these for Eyefinity are exp problems. Why would that be when it is the same concept.
