Hey guys im new to this eyefinity stuff and I was wondering if i could get some help on a new set up.

I just got a new computer i7 3.4ghz, 8gb ram, with an HD Radeon 6950 1gb

I'm trying to get eyefinity to work but it isnt detecting the 3rd monitor, I've tried switching around connections and tried downloading the latest drivers and it still doesnt work

right now I have 3 asus vs228hp monitors, 2 of them are connected with DVI to the 6950 and one of them is connected with a "eyefinity" supported display port to HDMI.

EDIT: the display port is an ACCELL UltraAV DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter

The display port monitor works and so does one DVI monitor, but the second DVI monitor doesnt work, also the monitor that is connected with the display port is blurry and has black bars around the image,

Does anybody know the issue here The place I got the equipment from said that this is everything I needed to run the eyefinity setup am I missing something?

Please any help is appreciated.

The problem is the adapter. It's not an active adapter. Go to newegg and buy a single-link Active display port to dvi adapter. If you need HDMI, slap a DVI->HDMI adapter on it.

i had a similar situation with my 3rd panel, with the blurryness and black bars. i have it connected over HDMI with no adaptor (the others over DP). check the scaling options for that panel under "My Digital Flat-Panels" in CCC, and make sure the underscan/overscan slider is set to 0%. seemed to straighten things out for me. though some in-game resolutions will still bring the bars back on that screen for some reason.

i want to say there was something else i did in CCC, but i can't remember right now. i'll look around and see if it comes to me.

That is not a "ACCELL UltraAV DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter". It's clearly a DP to Single-link DVI Active Adapter. You're giving contradicting information in your posts.
