Hi. This is my first post, so please direct me to the right place if it's not here. I've had a hunt through the recent posts, but I can't seem to see anyone reporting what I'm seeing.

I have a Sapphire Radeon HD 6850 and 3 monitors (two 1280 x 1024 either side of a 1920 x 1200). I have Sapphire active DisplayPort connecting the third monitor. All works fine as far as I can tell.

I have successfully created a 3 x 1 landscape Eyefinity desktop in Windows 7 which seems to work fine with all Windows apps. I'm typing this in the middle of a big, extended window running at 3840 x 1024 according to CCC Desktop Properties.

My problem is that - whenever I launch a game - I'm trying Half Life 2 and Counter Strike Source and also Starcraft II - all that happens is that the game loads in mirrored mode with each monitor showing the same image.

Am I doing something stupid?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi :welcome

This is very common with eyefinity. The games resolution is often running at the single monitors native resolution, all you need to do is goto your graphics/video settings in the a game and set it to the desired eyefinity resolution.

Example, in source engine games, like half life 2 etc, goto video options and select 16:9 ratio, then your eyefinity resolution will be listed.

Many thanks!
I selected 16:9 and the 'Native' resolution was then available in the dropdown for both HL2 and CSS.
