Use Presentation mode, by pressing +

, and select "Computer Only" for single monitor and "Duplicate" for Eyefinity. The best thing is that the two other monitors will shutdown, unlike playing with Catalyst profiles via shortcuts. You can also change which monitor is displaying the picture, by going to resolution setup from right click menu on desktop.

Neat. I always knew of the Windows + P thing, but never considered it for Eyefintiy..

Good thing, too. Presets have no worked for me since CCC 10.something

thanks, guy

Wow, this also remembers all three monitor position in Extended mode, and whatever resolutions any mode is set to.. Something CCC has almost never done. Sheesh.

thanks again. I've told other of this trick and they too, have shit kittens.

oh man, I totally forgot about that. I feel totally lame for not thinking to use that. I will utilize this often.

I love overclocking and running benchmarks but benchmark scores/ performance are reduced when all three monitors are linked in Eyefinity. I hate having to change profiles or unplug the monitors to get a proper score. This way I will be able to disable 2 monitors, run the benchmark, and them immediate go back to having a proper eyefinity setup.

Thank you for the reminder.

I just tried this (it was on duplicate already on my current Eyefinity setup) and it BSOD'ed for me when I went to Computer Only. Do you need to change your resolution to a single monitor res before attempting the change?

I've tried changing to different single monitors and every time it corrupts the display and then BSODs. Frustrating for sure. Still trying to work this out.

Can't even get back to Eyefinity now, going to try changing the drivers.

Still no luck. The problem is definitely when I try to go to a single monitor, it corrupts and BSODs. I can't even re-configure Eyefinity because it requires starting with a single screen. I tried updating to 11.12,same problem. Trying a system restore now. This (like most of AMDs drivers) sucks.

Thank goodness for System Restore. This presentation thing doesn't work for me personally because for some dumb reason I can't run in single monitor mode at all.

I've been using this little trick since I first responded , and it still work great, over a couple different rigs and driver versions/video cards. And I've been passing it around to other EF uses.

Still awesome, helpful, and easy. I'm glad this got bumped, as I completely spaced on who posted it in the first place.

So a big Rep+ for you!

Thats too bad, Aussie. What BSOD error code are you getting?

I like this thing a lot for switching between eyefinity, extended and single monitor. The problem is is that when I select 'Computer Only' the right monitor is the one who stays on and not the center monitor. Anyone any idea how to change that?

Thanks for the tip! This does exactly what I was using CCC profiles for but they're flakey and don't always remember the correct arrangement for my monitors. Windows Key + P is working flawlessly.

To answer my own question. Selecting 'projector only' fixed my problem.
