hi,

im mesing around with 3 x portrait (looks awesome but yes the bezles are annoying) also normally run landscape but i find its too wide mostly unless i use the 360 gamepad and play driving games sat back a bit further.

just wondering for a laugh if its possible for me to run just two of my monitors with one on top of the other in landcape? any ideas

i have a 5850 + DP and ATi IGP with surround view if this helps with my options, can i try it out in extended mode or is it possible with some eyefintiy fiddling?

cheers

It's not possible to mix and match portrait and landscape with eyefinity. You can do some custom setups if you run the games in windowed mode and stretch the window or use custom resolutions if the game has the capacity for it. You can even work with surroundview to allow a game to be stretched over 4 or 5 screens (5 with the VGA connection on motherboard). Windowed mode is a 2D mode so crossfire doesn't work and performance will be effected but it is kind of fun although not really useable :D.

You could try SoftTH but I don't know if its possible to do what you have in mind but you could ask in that part of the forum.

Edit - If you meant only 2 monitors both in landscape then yes you can do that with the normal eyefinity options just select a group of 2 and choose that arrangement. At first I thought you meant two in portrait with 1 above in landscape. :)
