The game is normally vert- in widescreen but by editing one of the ini files you can restore Hor + or set higher.
You have to assign one of the keys, eg F8 because each time you start the game or load a new level, the game will restore the default FOV.
I updated the information in data base.

The game probably use default 60 or 65 FOV. New 16:9 FOV set on 90 on the screenshot.
The game is not very good but it's fun in own way
