A quick and dirty fix for the framerate and fov in the mass effect 3 demo

Sorry, this is going to be a bit rushed, should have been in bed ages ago :D Will update the thread tomorrow with a step by step guide like I did in the darkness 2 thread.
Check that post, you're doing pretty much the same thing with different numbers - http://widescreengamingforum.com/forum/forums/gaming/requestdiscuss-game-solutions/19429/darkness-ii-demo-fov-broken-same-dark-sector#comment-239839

Once you get into the game proper, alt-tab out and start cheat engine, open the process masseffect3demo.exe, click on "add address manually"

01AA7F1c
and the type is "float"

the is the framerate cap, the value of this will be 62, change the value to 120. Note: This will have the side effect of lowering your mouse sensitivity so be sure to raise it in-game.

Then search for "array of bytes"

00 00 8C 42 39 8E E3 3F CD CC 4C 3E 00 50 43 48 00 C0 ?? ?? 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 40 63 00 00 00 00 FC ?? 15 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 1F 84 FF 7B FF FF FF FF

From the list of results, add just the last one and change it's value so that at the start the "00 00 8C" becomes "00 00 C8"

This will change the fov from 70 to 100.

Leave cheat engine running and play the game.
The fov while aiming is still ludicrous, can't seem to change that at the minute, might have a go over the weekend if I get time.

Sorry again for the quick post, will tidy up tomorrow after tea.

No posts to say whether this works? Whether it works with Dopefish's/Helifax's fix for surround gaming? Anyone?

I tried the FOV fix but searching for 'array of bytes' using the code you posted didn't give me any results.

Oops, yeah, sorry about that, I got distracted and never got round to finishing my fix. I think the game boring the arse off me had a lot to do with it, I just didn't have the motivation to fix it.
Anyway, all's well that ends well, someone else had sorted it now :D
