Hello.
I am not a big fan of the Quake source ports as i enjoy the original game the most. I was wondering if anyone would know how to Hex edit the original WinQuake.exe executable to be able to support a resolution of 1920x1080. It is not possible to have a custom resolution through command line or config files.

Hex editing should work if I could figure out which values to edit. Pre-Steam Half-Life 1 which is based on the Quake engine can do it (http://widescreengamingforum.com/dr/half-life-non-steam) and the exact same procedure can be applied to the Quake 2 executable without problems. This guide won't work for WinQuake though since I can't find the values listed in the guide. Which values are to be modified to make it work?
Thanks for any help!
