I am making a thread here so we can actually discuss the screenshots posted here, a thread only mods can reply to now.

So anyway, discuss the FOV and hack here. The game is hard to take comparisons of due to having no in-game resolution option but Tanuki did a good job. I am pretty positive the game was made on a 16:9 baseline however due to the console port nature of it and do not personally think a hack is needed for a single monitor resolution, but others may disagree.

Any 4:3-to-WS-to-Surround screenshot comparison would be great at this point.
Vert- or Vert+ 16:10 is a secondary issue, sorry if my reply to Tanuki's post made it sound all-important. If Racer_S's multi-mon hack also allows perfect Hor+ widescreen this will have to be mentioned and documented, that's all.

I didn't have a problem with anything you posted at all, I just wanted a thread where we could discuss the solution and the other two are A) not able to be posted in and B) in the multi-monitor only section.

I plan to do a complete DR for this with and without the hack at some point, unless Tanuki is already planning to. I think it is a very overlooked game that is actually quite good, similar to something like Timeshift.
