I tried several searches of the forums, with which I could find no answers, so I'll pose the question: Has anyone got Codemasters GRID to work properly at 5040x1050? I can select it in-game, and the TH2G SGU says that the game has native support for the game, which it does, but the aspect ratio is all out of whack. If you choose an aspect ratio of Normal, the game appears at the right aspect ratio using the 5040 width but height is all out of whack, you can only see the centre third of the screen! (ie it fills the monitors but you miss all the info above and below what makes it onto the screens) It's ok for racing, and it even centres the HUD in the centre screen which is great, and it gets the height mostly right, but in the menus it's a disaster. You can't see what you need to press so you just press Enter, Left, Right, or Escape as you think you should. Changing the aspect ratio to anything other than normal gives you an alarmingly thin screen vertically. Anyhow, just wondering if anyone had got it to work correctly. Great game, and great in-game with such a wide view, just let-down by the menus. |

You just need to patch your game to v.1.2 IIRC, it added official support for Surround. ;) Yeah, the Detailed Report needs a proper Surround section... it's become a prerequisite for WSGF grading only recently. |

Patched it to v1.3 and it works in 5040x1050 properly now. Gold. thanks again. |
