hello, i have a 22' 16:10 lcd, and i expected to play this game in 1280*800, because my native resolution is 1680*1050 (1.6) so if i put 1280*800 (1.6) y am suposed to view all the panel with no black lines.
But that not happened, y see like 4:3. Why?

Welcome.

When asking for help, it's best for everyone if you also list your specfic hardware. Most importantly, your video card, monitor, CPU and operating system.

There are many reason why you are having trouble but it's hard to help without knowing more about your computer.

I suggest you take the 5 minutes and add you computer specs in your 'signature' which apppears below every post you make, as you can see just below this reply.

The first suggestion to uour problem is to update you video drivers. Many people don't think to do it often but it help greatly with a very wide variety of problems. Also, be sure you have the latest patch(es) for any game you';re having trouble with.

TFT monitors may show strange behaviors when using resolutions other than their native one. 1024x768 (4:3) is stretched to 5:4 on my 19" panel, while other non-5:4 resolutions have black bars. And I can create crazy custom resolutions, but 1280x800 always stretches. Maybe there's something special with that res, and some panels can't interpolate it correctly ? :?

tnks for the answer.
I would have to see what to do or change te video card to play correctly in 1440*900 or in 1680*1050.
But here in Argentina they are very very expensive.

That sucks :( but like I said the issue might come from your screen, not the graphics card. Samsung TFTs have a history of having the same model numbers for very different panels, with very different features and flaws. Maybe a RMA could save the day ?

Best of luck and come back posting the solution here if you find any ;)
