HM so I've the full version now... fun as it is the FOV does seem a bit narrow.

well, for me ia ctually have the game.cfg with the fov setting (physicallaspect) ,

HOWEVER, eventho i change the 1.6 to 2.2, it doesnt change a thing.. weird

i see.. interesting, u have to start a new game for it to work (deleting ur old profile, so i guess the setting is stuck in ur profile)
