Your solution states to add -vidmode W, H, refrsh rate after the target line on the shortcut. So for my monitor, it would be -vidmode 1680, 1050, 60 I guess the latest patch stops this solution? Any guesses? |

Whos solution? Did you accidentally hit the "New Topic" button instead of the "Reply" button? My bad, the Halo widescreen solution by Paddy the Wak http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/ Does not work. I'm thinking the newest patch stops this... |

There are two FOV hack on ToCAEdit ... they do mention that they are for ... Halo PC/CE Patch v1.04-6 Only and ... Patch v1.04-6 Only Being the old game that it is I doubt if Racer_S will fix it for the latest patch. |

I found a fix. :P Ok, The target line hack works still but you have to write it like this... "X:HaloHalo.exe" -use20 -vidmode w,h,rf -screenshot Works like a charm. So for me it would look like this... "X:HaloHalo.exe" -use20 -vidmode 1680,1050,60 -screenshot -use20 forces the game to use SM2.0(looks much better, deeper looking colors) -screenshot forces the game to upscale to that res :wink: |
