Hello everyone,

I have been searching for a forum like this for quite some time and want to thank, in advance, anyone who could help me with this problem.

I recently upgraded my system to a:
Intel Core 2 Duo
4g RAM
ATI Radeon x1950 xtx uber
ATI Radeon x1950 xtx uber - crossfire
775W PS
Windows Vista x64
ASUS P5WDG2 Pro
All updated bios, and devices.

With a Samsung Syncmaster 225sw Widescrean.

Now the problem. All games play fine through an analog adapter, but whenever I use the DVI connection from the crossfire directly into the monitor, all games will flash on and then into a black screen. Sometime it holds the game for a little, but then flashes back to black. I have to strenuously find the exit when I can to get back to the desktop. When I do, the cards reset and the screen looks beautiful. Its only when I play games.

Games:
Medevil Total War
Vanguard: SOH

I have crossfire enabled under the CCC and Vista looks and runs great. All settings have been adjusted to check for possible solutions, but none has worked. Directx9 and 10 have been updated. Its a monster cable.

Hmm, I don't know much about ATI Cards, but I would say it's a vista-driver bug.
