Hi I just got the LG 194WTX and i updated the drivers through the windows advanced display settings.. However I'm not sure if I'm supposed to see new resolution settings after that or not.. Right now I still have to use my 1152*854 and there is no 1440*900 resolution ... I have no idea what I am doing wrong.. if someone can help that would be great... my computer is old and doens't have a video card.. It just runs off of my integrated motherboard graphics.

If its old then I doubt it will support any widescreen resolutions let alone the one for your lcd.

Which motherboard do you have?(model)

Powerstrip: Add Custom Desktop Resolution

Try and add the res yourself. If it is too much for the gfx it will revert back after a bit.
If your onboard is to bad you can buy a new one really cheap. Since you are using an onboard gfx I guess you don't game any type of heavy games so the cheapest agp/pcie should do fine.

Hey thanks I'll try that... and yes I don't do any gaming on my comp. I got the monitor primarily for gaming on my 360. Nonetheless I would just like to have the correct resolution while i'm on the PC. I have an ASRock AMD SiS series, Product #K7S41GX.

The integrated graphics is a SiS M741

if someone could list possible video cards that I could get which would allow widescreen resolution that woudl be great.. I don't want to spend a lot of money on it because I won't be playing games.. just want the recommended resolution so the cheapest card is what i'm looking for.
