You know, the RTS ones by Bungie (well at least the first 2 were) any kind of support? |

YES! Myth II now has (actually it has had it for awhile) widescreen support through the menu--just select 1440x900--thanks to an unofficial patch made by the Myth community. I meant to start a thread about it but you beat me to it. I have the patch and it works great, though it does seem to run a little slower than the standard 4:3 resolutions ... Grab the patch here: http://projectmagma.net/1.4info.shtml The patch also offers other benefits, such as the fact that you no longer have to have the CD in the drive to play, faster load times, etc. Glad to know there are still some Myth fans out there! I personally loved those games, except for the third which I didn't like at all. It just didn't seem to make the jump to full 3D very well. Personally I prefer the second game, which was a mix of 3d environments and 2d sprites for the charachters. Nothing like using the dwarf to blow those zombies to smithareens, with the bloody chunks flying and splatting against the landscape! Move here, move there! |
